The General Services Administration (GSA) selected Brookwood as its Construction Management advisor for the renovation and modernization of four existing historic buildings and an extensive expansion to an existing Italian Renaissance building as part of an annex to the Federal Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals in Atlanta.

The 100,000 square foot annex involved extensive demolition and rebuilding of historic buildings to the West of the existing court building across Fairlie Street, as well as expansion of administrative offices and a new two-level addition.

The project also included historic restoration of the exterior walls of the existing buildings, complete new interior structure and finishes, a new loading dock, underground secure parking, and construction of a connecting tunnel beneath Fairlie Street.

This project is LEED Silver.
